The Alumni Association Board of Directors encourages all members of the Hokie Nation to commit to service hours beyond normal commitments and focus especially during the month of April.
The VT-ENGAGE initiative was launched to encourage students, faculty, alumni, friends, and the university community to commit to service hours specifically to honor the university.
The Hokie Nation bonded together after April 2007, more than any time in our history. This bond created a sense of spirit and a momentum of living the university’s motto “Ut Prosim (That I May Serve).” Join in our “Hokie Nation Serves” focus every April and help demonstrate to the world the power of Hokie Pride, Hokie Spirit, and Hokie Tradition.

On Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 the Hilton Head Hokies Chapter will be partnering with Monster Pizza for Toss for Toys, a one day corn hole tournament with all proceeds going towards Toys for Tots and Operation Holiday Heroes. There will be a $20 entry fee per person and $15 with an unwrapped new toy. Contact information, click here.
